VH1 Hip Honors 2009 – Def Jam

This year’s Hip Honors celebrated the Def Jam label’s 25+ years in the game. The show was filmed live at BAM in the BK. As always, VH1 pulled out all the stops with Black Thought and Eminem doing a slamming rednittion of LL’s Rock the Bells, Chuck D, the Coup and the Root’s crew welcomed us to the Terradome and the Beasties caught some love from a KRS, Wale, Gym Class Heros freestyle hybrid of No Sleep til Brooklyn.
